Clubs are a community of gamers who enjoy playing and competing together. Clubs are communities that transcend beyond any single game. They are a place to meet new people and make friends. Although clubs start out small, their size increases as the players enter tournaments and win points. Players can represent their club in the game of their choice by finding/forming teams within their club to enter in tournaments. Although the games available at launch are League of Legends and Overwatch, our goal is to one day let you play and compete in any game you wish with your teammates.
Teams can be formed in clubs on the fly. This is one of the greatest benefits of being in the club. If there is a tournament you wish to participate in, simply join or create a team with your club mates and register. The more tournaments you participate in, and the further you go, the more points you win for your club and the more points you have on your profile. Although clubs exist across games, a team is formed only to register for a specific tournament in a specific game. If you wish to enter another game, you will need to create or join another team.
Tournaments are where points are won. The bigger the size of the tournament, the more points are awarded. You can participate in free tournaments for points, or in paid tournaments to compete for a prize pool.
Clubs are awarded the points at the end of a tournament based on the position of the total teams within the tournament. For example, if a club had 2 teams in a tournament, winning 10 and 20 points respectively. The club would receive 30 points.
Players - Points are awarded at the end of a tournament are based on your team's position. The points are distributed between the members of your team. For example, your team has 5 members and was awarded 20 points for finishing first. Each member would receive 4 points. The points reflect your contribution to your club and exist across games.
Points allow a club to grow in size. The more points a club has, the larger its player limit. Points are also reflected in the league standings. Clubs with the most points at the end of the time win the league.
There are several leagues for different club sizes. They run for a given time, usually a month or more. At the end of this time, the club with the most points of similar sized clubs wins the league. Prizes for the league will be announced at the start of each league. Any points a club wins during the league is reflected in the clubs position on the ladder. The ladder is reset at the end of league and any prizes are awarded at this time. Initially, for the beta launch, there will only be one league.
